Study found Epilepsy drug effective for osteoarthritis – A study conducted by Yale researchers has identified a drug target that may alleviate joint degeneration associated with osteoarthritis (OA), a debilitating condition that affects millions of people worldwide. The study found that drugs targeting a specific sodium channel, Nav1.7, could potentially slow joint degeneration in OA patients.
